The seatbelt jacket is certainly one of Griffin's most iconic designs, one that Jeff Griffin frequently revisited apart of Griffin's design philosophy to continually adjust and evolve the brand's staples.
This jacket, constructed from a PU coated cotton, by realising the Velcro straps the side seams can be split allowing the jacket to be laid flat, presenting the jackets main 3 segments. Curved panels run down the front of the jacket, from the shoulders down to the hem, with discrete chest pockets beneath. The strap on the bottom of the main closure allows the wearer to quickly release the Velcro and open the jacket by pulling down.
